THE WORD OF THE OWNER
“After several years of racing on my 3 sailboats ranging from 6.50 m to 9.47 m, in 2008 the arrival of this Oceanis 40 Beneteau, was the culmination of my dreams to travel around the world with a reasonable budget.
Some people told me that it was crazy to leave with such a production boat! Well, I can assure you that in 14 years my boat has brought me nothing but happiness, sailing from Brittany to Istanbul, Panama, Polynesia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia and the Cape of Good Hope.
That is to say almost all the oceans of the world. Oh, there were a few little glitches, but I can assure you that all the boats we met, including the sailboats designed for such a navigation, also had their share.
Now, before moving on to another project, I hope that my boat will find another owner who will be as attentive as I was with her.
